TRAVEL PHOTO DIARY: JOHANNESBURG SOUTH AFRICA…JOBURG SHOPPING FESTIVAL

As you may remember, about 2 weeks ago, I had spend about 4 day in the lovely Johannesburg, South Africa for the Joburg Shopping Festival . Now, for all my Kenyans and non-South African people, let me explain what the Joburg Shopping Festival is. The Joburg shopping Festival is a 2 week fabulous affair that was created as away to show travellers that Joburg is not just city that focuses only on business, it is also a city that offers travellers a trip that the will never forget. In Johannesburg you not only work can, you also play hard. Now, I bet you are wondering why I was there. About 2 weeks ago I spent about 4 amazing day in beautiful Johannesburg, South Africa and got the chance to experience the Joburg Shopping Festival for the very first time. Now, for all my Kenyans and non-South African people the Joburg Shopping Festival is a 2 week fabulous affair that was created as away to show travellers that Joburg is not just city that focuses only on business, it is also a city that offers us travellers a trip that we will never forget. “In Johannesburg you not only work hard, you also play hard.”
During my stay I made amazing new blogger friends from all over Africa, ate a lot, partied hard and most importantly shopped till I dropped. The trip was everything I wanted and more and would have never been possible if it was not for South African Airways, Gauteng Tourism and City Lodge Hotel Newtown. With that said, I thought I would give you all a glimpse into my 4 days in Johannesburg for the Joburg Shopping Festival.

MY JOURNEY TO TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY 005: 9 WAYS TO START EXERCISING AGAIN AFTER A BREAK

If you follow me on social media, you probably know that I was out of the country for about 2 weeks. And when that happened, guess what else happened… I stopping going to the gym… I mean yes I would try and work out in my hotel rooms but y’all know that if someone’s not there to kick your butt and make you do it, you will slack off and at best maybe you’ll do the work outs, but in a half ass manner.. And yes, that was me. When I would do my “workout homework” given to me by my trainer from Revitalize, I would do the first 2 reps kinda properly but by the 3rd of 4th one….. I would do the least painful and least exhausting part of the workout. And I already know what you are thinking. “If you are given a workout plan by your trainer, why would you not do it right?” And my answer is crazy simple… Because I am human..and humans can be lazy…plus I like pie and vacations. Not a proper excuse, but you know..HUMAN… anyway, So when I got back home, on a Sunday, I told myself I would get back to my workout routine on Monday…….. 7 days later, nothing happened. So, this past Monday I told myself “Today is the offing Day” And guess what I did. I went to the gym. With that said, here are my 8 tips on how to get yourself back to the gym.
